Twice a year, ARRL Sponsors an event designed to promote Amateur Radio to our youth. Let us share the excitement with your kids or grandkids, or the general public! Kids Day is designed to give an on-the-air experience to young people and hopefully foster interest in getting a license of their own. It is also intended to give older hams a chance to share their station and love for Amateur Radio with their children or grandchildren. Hams across the nation will be participating to lets kids have their first experience with the unique and fascinating hobby of Amateur Radio.

On Saturday June 16th from 2pm to 6pm Members of the MidState Amateur Radio Club will welcome the public to our radio room in the Johnson County Prosecutors Office at 1 Caisson Dr, Franklin, IN 46131 (The old Franklin Police Station) to experience the unique fun of amateur radio.
