MARC Monthly Meeting – May 17

Club meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month, except for the September picnic lunch, at the Johnson County REMC, 750 International Drive in Franklin beginning at 8:00 AM.

Our May monthly meeting will be on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

This is the weekend of the annual Dayton Hamfest in Xenia, Ohio and we realize that many members will be traveling to the three-day event. But, some of us will be attending the hamfest on Friday and will be back for the the Saturday MARC Monthly Meeting. So, if you are in town, come to the meeting and find out about the used radio deals, new equipment and activities at Dayton this year…first hand from those that just attended the day before.

Donuts and coffee will be served.

FCC License Exams…

Testing is done immediately following our monthly club meetings. We invite you to attend our monthly meeting which starts at 8:00 AM. Testing can begin as early as 9:00 AM and continues until testing is completed, usually by 10:30 or 11:00 AM.

You must pre-register for an ARRL VEC proctored FCC Exam with the Mid-State Amateur Radio Club by the Wednesday prior to the Saturday exam.  All three Amateur License Exams (Technician, General, Amateur Extra) are available via our testing team. There is a $15 charge ($5 under 18) for taking a FCC exam. There may be an additional fee to be paid directly to the FCC; MARC can not accept payments for the FCC.
