Weather Ops – MARC Weather Interest Group

MARC’s new Weather Interest Group, “Weather Ops”, met in our first WebEx virtual meeting on Wednesday, September 25. Information and a WebEx invitation were sent to MARC members via email. This initial meeting was recorded and is now available to MARC Members for review in the Members Only section of the website. All Weather Ops monthly WebEx meetings will be available for download. A link from WebEx is also sent to all members a few hours after each meeting.

Mark Your Calendar: The next Weather Ops Meeting will be on Wednesday, October 23 beginning at 7:00 PM. MARC Members will receive an invitation. Bob Jones KC9NJM will be discussing the many weather links available on the MARC Weather page of our website.

Also, remember that current conditions at the MARC Radio Room tower near downtown Franklin are available on this website. Plus, our weather station data is also available for your computer, pad or phone via the WeatherLink app. Look for WeatherLink wherever you download your apps. It’s a free app. When you have the app running on your personal device, create an account (It’s free) and then look for the W9MID_WX pin on the map in Franklin, Indiana.
