Amateur Radio Display at Library

MARC member Art Bleicher WB9CHR has created a display in the lobby of the Johnson County White River Branch Library which will run through the month of February. The display features early radio equipment with a tie-in to President Abraham Lincoln whose birthday is celebrated in February.

There is also a section of the display dedicated to more modern aspects of our hobby including the role of the ARRL and local clubs such as the Mid-State Amateur Radio Club. Some free handouts are available for visitors to take away on a nearby table in the library
